I was honoured to join Chief Constable Craig Guildford and Superintendent Gareth Mason at Tally Ho training centre for the Passing Out Parade for WM Police PCDA 5 and Special Constables Cohort 3.
The Parade marks the culmination of the 22 week training programme undertaken by all new recruits and it was great to be joined by so many friends and family of the new officers to celebrate the occasion.
The Chief Constable and Superintendent both spoke very powerfully about the importance of the role that the Police plays in society, and how the respect that the public has for the Police requires each and every officer to maintain the highest standards.
