I was delighted to join Regional Director Jamie – Ann Edwards and approximately 300 members of staff from the West Midlands Probation Service for their Annual Staff Recognition Awards which took place at the Grand Station Conference Centre in Wolverhampton.
It was splendid event and celebrated some outstanding contributions that have been made by members of WMPS during the course of the year in a wide range of categories. What really struck me was that so many of the Award winners had applied deep skills and experience during the course of the work, but had done it in a manner which demonstrated real teamwork and care for their colleagues.
As apart of the Ceremony I was delighted to present 6 High Sheriff Awards for exceptional contributions by certain members of staff.
